College Coaches We would like to offer you a unique service designed to enhance your recruiting effectiveness.  The recruiting service, WEST COAST SOFTBALL ALL-STARS, is modeled after those services Derek Allister used for seventeen years as an NCAA Division 1 basketball coach.  Our family has an extensive background in NCAA athletics.  Besides Derek's experiences, Joann coached for four years at the NCAA Division 1 level in softball, and our two daughters both played softball at the Major College level. The WEST COAST SOFTBALL ALL-STAR REPORT is a service geared towards the success of YOUR PROGRAM, as opposed to the typical softball service geared towards the individual athlete.  WE WORK FOR COACHES AND THEIR COLLEGIATE PROGRAMS!  We are not in the business of promoting players.  As a MEMBER SCHOOL, you will: Receive lists of prospective players whom we have personally evaluated. Receive detailed information for those athletes we have evaluated. Have evaluators at all major tournaments/events on the West Coast. Be admitted free to all West Coast Softball All-Star Camps. Have access to the OnDeck Softball Website - NEW! in December of 2007 For example, following our coverage of an event, we will put together an evaluation report that details the players we saw that weekend.  On the report, we will include a short description of the player designed to give you a better feel for the her, and contact information for the player and/or coach.  Periodically, we will combine reports into Comprehensive Reports allowing you to increase the size of your recruiting pool. All reports covering both specific events and Classes will give you a RATING, some basic information, and a specific EVALUATION.  Stopwatches are used to time CATCHER'S THROWS TO SECOND, and RUNNER'S TIMES TO FIRST!  The newest radar gun on the market, the Bushnell Speedster, clocks the PITCHER'S VELOCITY!  Our data base will include player's phone numbers, addresses, email addresses and other pertinent recruiting information. In the Spring of each year, we will provide you with a Comprehensive Class Report for the outstanding athletes in that particular class.  The Comprehensive Report will rate every athlete whom we have seen for the past twelve months.  The report will be broken down by POSITION.  This report will allow you to KNOW WHO YOU SHOULD BE LOOKING AT BEFORE YOU WALK IN THE GATES OF THE SUMMER TOURNAMENTS!  In addition to those reports, we constantly will keep you updated on emerging talent in the younger classes.
